OpenEXA Inc. is a fast-growing crypto startup revolutionizing the accessibility and cost-effectiveness of Stablecoins. We are focused on providing users with a seamless and efficient platform to acquire, hold, and utilize Stablecoins, backed by Real-World Assets (RWAs) and on-chain trading. Our innovative approach aims to reduce acquisition and holding costs from over 500 basis points (bps) to just over 100 basis points (bps), making Stablecoins more accessible for institutions to participate in the crypto markets.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP of Sales to join our team. As the VP of Sales at OpenEXA, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base in the financial industry. You will lead a high-performing sales team and work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies that align with our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and meet sales targets.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve individual and team goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances within the financial industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including institutional clients, financial institutions, and industry influencers.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and customer needs.
- Develop and implement effective sales processes, tools, and performance metrics to optimize sales performance and maximize efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and potential challenges.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, KPIs, and metrics to evaluate performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to promote OpenEXA's brand and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the financial industry, preferably in the cryptocurrency or fintech sector.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, institutional sales, and investment products.
- Strong network of contacts within the financial industry, including institutional clients and financial institutions.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies, resulting in revenue growth and market expansion.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to drive strategic decision-making.
- Results-oriented and driven to exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and adapt to evolving market conditions.
- Located in or willing to relocate to New York City (NYC).
